Kirkbie Kendal School community is a happy place to learn and work. Care, Hard Work, Resilience and Curiosity are at the heart of who we are and our visitors often comment on the purposeful and friendly, warm atmosphere of our school.
One of the final projects from our Y12 students: they were challenged to design and make something to 'contain, display, & protect' an item that is precious to them.
The creativity and range of design and manufacturing skills on display are outstanding. 🌟

📸Sports Day 26. We have too many great pictures not to share more! 🌟A few highlights - Archer Sumpter getting the Year 8 crowd going with ‘The Worm’ 🙂 Miss Chapman on the mic leading YMCA, and the Y7s copying the England Football Team with their own performance of Wonderwall.
Yesterday we capped off our #SportsDay2026 with Y10 students taking on a number of different challenges & events. Sponge Relay, Welly Wanging, Egg & Spoon & Tug of War were a few events which made up a memorable day. All students who took part did superbly well. Well done Yr10!

A sobering day for all yesterday with visits to Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp and the Stasi prison. Students were great throughout and listened respectfully all day. ✨
